Joe has had the privilege of working and interacting with small business owners through volunteering and serving opportunities in various communities. In those discussions, he learned that small businesses share a common frustration: getting their message across to potential customers and increasing sales. Whether it was the lack of time, or their lack of understanding on “what to do,” business owners felt almost paralyzed. It's through those conversations that Joe realized this is not just a problem with one or two businesses. This is a frustration that all business owners struggle with. 

After spending years in corporate marketing, Joe realized that many of the same marketing practices and resources that large corporations engage in can also be utilized by small businesses. He started Jolin Media, and developed a simple process to give small businesses the opportunity to effectively share their message and market their products and services to get results. 

Joe is active in the community, serving as a Director on the Greater Burlington Chamber Board, a Burlington Grayhound Booster Club member, a member of the Burlington Chamber Ambassadors, and a 2019 graduate of the Greater Burlington Leadership Class. 

Joe and his wife Crystal, and their 4 kids live in West Burlington, Iowa.
